Hospital Board Assessment

The IHA Hospital Board Assessment is designed to measure and benchmark a hospital board’s performance.

There are two sections to the program, the main section being the board assessment. This section allows each board member to answer a set of customizable questions about the board as a whole.  When completed, this section provides the board with a better understanding of its strengths and weakness as well as benchmarking information against peers and the rest of the state.

The second section of the program is a personal evaluation. This is designed to give each board member a better understanding of their own strengths and weakness as a contributing member of the board.  The personal section will not have benchmarking information and the final result of the data is a weighted average of all the members that will give the board a better understanding of how the group collectively feels about their contributions.  For best results IHA recommends using the program once a year.
