Iowa Hospital Association Annual Salary and Benefits Survey Program
The annual salary and benefits survey collects salaries on more than 300 nonmanagement, management and executive job classifications. The executive salary survey breaks down salaries by base and total compensation. The Iowa Hospital Association salary and benefits survey is one of the most valuable and useful tools provided to members. This annual survey helps Iowa hospitals hire and maintain appropriate levels of personnel and evaluate their benefit plans.
The annual benefits survey, through a series of 47 questions, collects data on benefits for:
- Hospital CEO.
- Time off.
Each participating hospital receives these reports:
- Benefits survey.
- Executive salary survey.
- Nonmanagement, management salary survey.
- Shift differential.
- Turnover survey.
The salary and benefit survey questionnaires are submitted using data as of July 1. Survey results are sent to participating hospitals' CEOs and human resource directors the first week in October.
Iowa Hospital Association Turnover Program
The Iowa Hospital Employee Turnover Program provides data on specific job codes and allows health care organizations to track and measure their turnover rates compared to other hospitals. Data through July 1 is reported and statewide reports are available in October.
