Relay Iowa and Telecommunications Access Iowa are programs of the Iowa Utilities Board. Relay Iowa representative Lori Sporrer is providing education and information about the Captioned Telephone. This technology allows a person with a hearing loss an opportunity to read captions of what is said to them while on the telephone. Dylan Heuer of Telecommunications Access Iowa will share about the state voucher program which help pay for specialized telecommunications equipment such as amplified phones, CapTel phones, iPads and more.
