Iowa Credentialing Coalition releases new provider application. Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 1, receiving entities only will accept the newest version of the universal provider application and the universal re-credentialing application.

HRSA announces grant for rural health networks. The Health Resources and Services Administration is awarding 20 grants to entities with demonstrated experience or capacity to serve rural communities.

HHS warns health care organizations about security risks. The Department of Health and Human Services in a recent presentation said some tools used to operate, maintain and secure health care systems and networks also can be turned against their infrastructure.

Relief fund launched for displaced Florida hospital staff. The Florida Hospital Association Research and Education Foundation created the Health Care Heroes Relief Fund to provide immediate financial support to hospital employees displaced by Hurricane Ian.
