IHA submits REH, CAH conditions of participation comments to CMS. Yesterday, IHA submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services about the conditions of participation for rural emergency hospitals and updates to the conditions of participation for critical access hospitals.

Bill would extend Medicare-dependent and low-volume adjustment programs. To extend the Medicare-dependent hospital program and low-volume hospital adjustment, the Assistance for Rural Community Hospitals (ARCH) Act has been introduced by Reps. Carol Miller (R-W.VA) and Terri Sewell (D-Ala.)
