Gail Graham retires from VA. Gayle Graham retired March 31 as the director of VA Central Iowa Health Care System in Des Moines. She began the position in July 2016.

IHA interim salary survey results distributed. Given growing workforce concerns, IHA was asked by the Council on Health Information to conduct an interim salary survey for limited job codes to help assess the rapidly changing health care environment.

Still time to register for upcoming IHA programs. There’s still time to register for three upcoming programs about governance, human resources and employment law.

Learn to celebrate success. Celebrate Everything, the final Lessons in Leadership webinar for 2022, will teach health care leaders and human resource professionals how to celebrate departmental and company accomplishments.

White House releases FY 2023 budget request. President Joe Biden submitted his budget request for fiscal year 2023 last week. 

Half of member hospitals have signed DEI pledge. With the release of the American Hospital Association's Health Equity Road Map last week, member hospitals are reminded to sign IHA's Pledge to Champion Diversity, Health Equity and Inclusivity.
