Caring for Caregivers

Hundreds of Iowa hospital employees suffered devastating losses from recent tornadoes and flooding.  Some lost everything, yet they continued caring for their patients and neighbors who were ill or suffered injury as a result of these tragedies.

In an effort to help these heroic health care workers rebuild their lives, the Iowa Hospital Employee Disaster Relief Fund has been established.  All donations made to this fund will be disbursed to hospital staff in the affected areas of the state.  The fund will be administered through the Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (contributions are tax deductable).

This is a unique opportunity for you to come to the aid of your colleagues, who have given selflessly to their communities, even as their own lives have been rocked by disaster.
