Iowa Donor Network (IDN) is Iowa's sole federally designated Organ Recovery Agency. IDN maintains a staff of certified organ donation specialists who provide on-site organ donor care services to all Iowa hospitals while coordinating all aspects of organ recovery and distribution for transplantation. IDN also provides donor tissue recovery services for the majority of Iowa hopsitals. IDN's development staff provides a vast array of public and professional education programs to enhance statewide donation awareness and to familiarize health care professionals with the donor identification and referral process. Iowa Donor Network is a free standing, not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation.
