The Annual Salary and Benefits Survey collects salaries on more than 260 non-management, management and executive job classifications. The Executive Salary Survey breaks down salaries by base and total compensation. The IHA Salary and Benefits Survey is one of the most valuable and useful tools provided to IHA members. This annual survey helps Iowa hospitals hire and maintain appropriate levels of personnel and evaluate their benefit plans.

The Salary and Benefit Survey questionnaires are submitted using data as of July 1. Survey results are sent to participating hospitals' CEOs and human resource directors the first week in October.
The Iowa Hospital Employee Turnover Rate Program is a program that provides data on specific job codes and allows a health care organization to track and measure its own turnover rates compared to other hospitals. Data is reported by hospitals using data as of July 1 and statewide reports are available in October.
